Pink double flowers with a strong fragrance. The flowers fade towards the end of flowering. The pink buds are covered in moss like sepals. The rose belongs to the centifolia muscosa group and was bred by Frenchman Jean Pierre Vibert and marketed in 1843. Named after Marguerite Agla de Beaufort, Comtesse de Murinais. Her husband was a very active botanist in Paris.
